Very satisfied. This box made a big difference in sound. Using ct sounds tropo xl 12. Very happy with the sound and fits perfect
I had a box for one 12 before I purchased this one but it wouldn't fit under the rear seat.i installed the fox box the same day I got it and was extremely disappointed with how it sounds. My other box hit a lot harder than this one. I called the day after i bought it and asked what the return policy was and was told there was a 25% restocking fee. I would've been ok with that but since I screwed my speaker to the box, they would not take it back at all because of the screw holes. The box is definitely well built but didn't get as low and loud as I wanted. $350 is way more than I wanted to spend on an enclosure but the company's reputation made me thi k it would be worth it. I wasn't going to leave a review but they emailed me asking me to leave a review. My opinion on how to improve the box is make it where it goes across the whole back seat to get more internal volume and tune the port lower. I wish they would've just taken the box back
Sorry things didnt work out for you. I'm not sure what you were expecting? Bigger boxes make bigger bass. It sounds like you already had a huge box that took up the entire understeat space and it was still too big to fit! The sub box you purtchased is clearly advertised and shown as being just one side of the truck. We make a good sub box but we can't work magic and make the same sound from half the air volume. The intended purpose of this box is to get good bass and still leave the 40 side of the seat available for storage. If you are willing to go across the entire seat of the truck and want high output, get the dual 12 elite box.
As far as returns, I would hope you understand that we do not sell used products and once you put screw holes in it, we can not resell it since nobody else wants to get a sub box that is obviously used.

(Fitment could be better seat does not sit completely flush)
I never did wite a review when I first got the box so coming back here now to rectify that. I just want to say that I still love this box, and everything about it is still 100% fantastic. I've had an RF P2D4-12 in it the whole time and the sub and enclosure just crush it. Rock, country, jazz, new school old school, whatever. The fit, finish and structure of the box is great and the people at Fox were just fantastic. My original order had a minor issue and they immediately worked on getting me a replacement. We actually had a lot of back and forth communication with my order as, if I recall correctly, they had a fire and were rebuilding and awaiting new equipment and I placed a pre-order. I was also moving during this time so we needed to coordinate address changes between pre-order date and eventual shipping date. Then there were FedEx issues that weren't Fox's fault and the whole time, the Fox team was super gracious and quick to follow up, even with all they were dealing with getting back up and running. I still have that 2018 Ram Crew Cab but when it's time for a new truck, you can be sure one of the first things I do is reach out to Fox for a box that fits the next one. I cannot recommend the box or these folks highly enough. Glad to see they are still going strong!
Yes this box holds true to its value. Your absolutely gettin your moneys worth with it. I have it in my 2002 ram 1500 quad cab. I have been in aftermarket car audio for 20+ yrs. By trade i spent a great deal of time as a mechanic. Now i am an electro-mechanical fabricator building and wiring automation control systems. So im ocd about almost everything i do. I have been installing car audio and remote start systems for easily 20 years and of all the vehicle specific enclosures i have used this one is by far the best built and best sounding and for how little space is available under the back seat. The quality of the build is unmatched. It is well reinforced inside and out. Im sure it would take a hell of a beating from a high output woofer. For me im using an alpine type-r 12" with a jl/tma 500.1 monoblock. Its a first generation model for the type r which if your not familiar they have a metal dust cap over the magnet vent that vents out the sides of the cap to allow the woofer to be mounted almost against the enclosure wall. This model requires a deeper mounting depth than that of the later generation type-r's. Still had no trouble with fitment. Woofer dropped in with plenty of room to spare. The port tuning on this box is perfect for the type r. Going from the generic box i had in the truck previously with 2 jl w0v3's there is no comparison the fox box is like having a crisp clean concert in your truck. Every bit of lows are perfectly pronounced without rattling everything apart. Im very proud to say im using a foxbox. With the seat spacers it fit perfectly. The seat doesnt even rest against the box and didnt need to remove the carpet under the seat. Just dropped in and fits snug. If your lookin to make your system sound like a concert this is your ticket. As an ocd fabricator ive always tried to maintain that the product im building should look and perform like it cost what the customer paid for. And im not afraid to say this is exactly what i see and hear with fox's box. Thx for making me take drives specifically to get my time in each day to listen to music in my truck. It has become my daily release. Any bad day is resolved by gettin in the truck and crankin it up for an aimless hour drive. If anyone is lookin at this box and not sure pull the damn trigger. Its the best box ive heard in a truck without question. Hits all the lows without distortion fills the cab and immerses you.
